Misty Leeth is an accomplished risk management professional with nearly three decades of experience in commercial insurance and loan servicing. As a Director at Fortress Risk Consultants, she draws on her deep expertise in insurance compliance, risk mitigation, and operational leadership to help lenders and investors navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence.
Throughout her career, Misty has held senior roles overseeing insurance and loan administration functions, including compliance reviews, audit facilitation, escrow analysis, and claims management. Before joining Fortress, she served as Managing Director of Insurance Compliance and Loan Administration at Red Capital Group and later at Newmark, where she led national servicing operations and advanced industry best practices.
Misty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and a Paralegal Certificate from Ohio University. She maintains her Ohio Property and Casualty Insurance License and is FDIC-cleared for loan servicing. A former Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Insurance Risk Management Committee, Misty continues to be recognized as a trusted voice in the field.
Outside of work, Misty enjoys catering events for family and friends, combining her love of food and hospitality to create memorable experiences.
