Over the past two years, Laura has served in a variety of consulting roles, leading insurance due diligence for pre-closing and post-closing transactions involving Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD-financed loans. Prior to consulting, she spent 12 years at Walker & Dunlop as Senior Vice President, where she led pre-closing insurance operations for agency-financed transactions nationwide.
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Laura has built extensive expertise in commercial property, casualty, and professional liability insurance through leadership roles with both insurance carriers and agencies. Her comprehensive knowledge of insurance risk management, lender insurance requirements, and transaction due diligence enables her to identify and mitigate risk while helping clients successfully navigate complex commercial real estate financing transactions. Laura is recognized for delivering practical, market-driven solutions and providing a high level of service throughout the financing process.
