Cynthia Robinson brings more than two decades of global insurance and risk management experience to her role as Director at Fortress Risk Consultants. Known for her analytical approach, market expertise, and creative problem-solving, Cynthia consistently meets — and often exceeds — lender expectations. Her work is defined by precision and a deep understanding of how complex insurance programs intersect with commercial lending requirements.
Before joining Fortress in 2017, Cynthia served as an international account executive and independent risk consultant for Fortune 500 companies across technology, manufacturing, aviation logistics, and energy. She led the design, placement, and management of large-scale, multinational property and casualty programs, coordinating with markets in North America, Europe, and Latin America.
In 1991, she started working in the insurance industry in Bogotá, Colombia where she was the principal of an independent reinsurance broking firm, engaging the South American, European and London markets on her clients’ behalf. Through this experience, Cynthia gained first-hand knowledge of the international insurance marketplace, risk management methodologies, communication protocols, as well as local business cultures.
